Communicate About Sex with Ease in Your Intimate Relationship

If you are in an intimate relationship, then sex is certainly a topic of interest to you both. Something so powerful, pleasurable, creative and connecting should be easy to talk about, right? Yet most of us carry shame, embarrassment or awkwardness about the topic – which sometimes makes it challenging to talk about, even with our partner. Perhaps you are afraid to reveal what you like or don’t like? Or maybe you struggle to let go of judgements and truly enjoy being intimate?

Our aim, in this 1 day workshop, is to create a safe and respectful place where you can explore how to bring more ease and joy into your conversations about sex – and maybe even deepen your experience of sex itself.

You will learn about:

  • Your Beliefs – what you and your partner learned about sex and relationships and how your beliefs either block you or serve you
  • Men and Women Perspectives about Sex – and improve your understanding of yourself and your partner
  • How to Talk Together about Sex – in ways that bring you both more respect, intimacy and fulfilment.

The programme is built on the principles of Nonviolent Communication and you will learn some basic skills you can apply immediately in the context of talking about sex.

This programme is for you if you are in an intimate relationship and either one, or both, of you have some discomfort talking about sex. You wish for a safe place where you can work with your more vulnerable places and bring you closer together as a couple.

This workshop is for heterosexual couples – we may offer separate workshops for gay and lesbian couples as well as for singles.

Please note. This is not a therapy and our aim is to find practical ways to communicate more easily. If you are looking to heal from sexual trauma then we recommend you seek a specialist on this.

Saturday 11th June 10:00 to 17:00 (with breaks) EEST Time Zone (UTC +3).

The programme is highly interactive with a variety of exercises in small groups, whole group and in pairs with your partner. Our primary concern is that you feel safe to explore this topic so you will be free to choose what you share and what you do not share. We will keep the group size to a maximum of 8 couples and nothing will be recorded.

There will be a very limited and selected amount of conceptual or other presentation.

Language of the programme is ENGLISH.

ONLINE using Zoom platform. To participate you will need access to a computer or tablet with a camera, plus a reliable internet connection.

Please note, you will need to join on separate devices for most of the workshop.

We want our programmes to be accessible to all and at the same time make sure we can sustain this work. We do not know how much money you can afford, so we ask you to decide how much you will pay in the range €100 to €200 (500 to 1,000 RON) per couple.

We don’t want money to get in the way of you participating and working on your most important relationship. If even the lowest programme price is more than you can afford, then please contact us and we are confident we will find a solution together.  EMAIL
